Rethink Sahayak

Rethink Mental Illness helps millions of people affected by mental illness by challenging attitudes and challenging lives. Our Sahayak service can support anyone from the Black and Minority Ethnic communities, individuals that have a mental illness and suffer emotional distress and often feel isolated. We can help if you feel you have lost confidence in your ability to manage everyday life or feel anxious and unhappy.

Sahayak provides one to one support and practical assistance or we can simply listen as well as offer Counselling Support. We offer a Carers Support Service as caring for someone with a mental illness can be stressful.

We have a Floating Support Service for people who are homeless or at risk of losing their home, have a mental illness, or are fleeing domestic abuse. We can support you with rent arrears, evictions, budgeting and management of bills, domestic issues, being independent at home, claiming welfare benefits, and accessing training and education.
